I’ve decided to donate a minimum of 5% of the revenue generated by my writing ventures (dare I say career?). This will be on an on-going basis, starting at day one.

That number could be increased. However I don’t want to make bigger promises if I don’t know for sure they’re feasible. Once I have a handle on my sales volume and ongoing expenses, I’ll revisit and reconsider the percentage. I would love to make it a steady 10%, eventually.

As soon as I publish my first piece and start earning income, I will start setting aside the money. The money allotted for charity will be dispersed quarterly. I may direct my quarterly donations to other charities, obviously. This will all depend on where I feel it needs to go at the time.
I’ll always be transparent, though.

I reserve the right to donate it to any non-profit of my choosing. I invite you all to make suggestions if there’s a group you’d like me to consider, however. The topic is open for discussion in the comments below 🙂

Thank you, and happy reading!
